Cinnamon the Capybara
On the 13th September 2024, Cinnamon the Capybara escaped from her habitat at Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World whilst a keeper was mowing her paddock causing a stir with the international media.
Although Cinnamon didn't realise it, by the time she was recaptured a week later, her story had travelled around the world including the USA, Australia and China.
